U pipe collector, in operation, uses the absorption layer to transform solar light into heat energy. Then it transfers the heat to the working medium depending on the fin and U-shaped copper pipe in the manner of thermal conduction. The working medium is forced to circulate by the circulating pump to heat the water in the tank. Compared with a flat plate collector, it has lower heat loss, stronger adaptability and better performance of aging resistant membrane layer.
